- Best selling stand-up comedian and actor
- Specials “Deported” & “The Indian Detective”
- Hosted the “Russell Peters vs. the World”
Russell Peters, the Canadian comedian, recently partnered with GGPoker and hosted a $5K showdown featuring stand-up comedian and novice poker player Russell Peters.
Peters, who is not a professional poker player, decided to try his luck in the tournament, which had a $5 buy-in and was open to all.
Players had a good chance of beating Peters and winning the special bounty prize money. The tournament was broadcast on GGPoker TV, allowing fans to watch how he fared against more experienced opponents.
It was an exciting opportunity to see Peters in a different setting and watch him test his skills at the poker table.
